| This is from a series of photos shot in a small poolroom in an apartment complex. The mood was to be sensual and mysterious which I think the photographer did an excellent job at portraying that. The theme is gender association and how society attaches certain gender identities to a particular sex such as high heels and stockings and how they belong exclusively to women. The shoot is to question that stereotype. You find most cross-dressing photography either goofy or just a guy showing off modeling his prom gown and new stripper shoes but I hope these photos are more thought provoking although I do have to admit the model I worked with was gorgeous and next to her I felt like just a guy in a dress. Aside from the occasional interruptions during the shoot where the apartment manager would interrupt us to show perspective new tenants the poolroom, and people giving us their best WTF look, it was a fun and great time and these shots remain some of my most favorites. |

I think, that you should do something for stereotypes project, because there are many things, that people can say about you. I am a person so I am stereotyped
